  • Haunted Sedamsville Rectory: History/Past Evidence/Meaning

    in Paranormal

    Friday, May 8th
    10pm ET . 9pm CT / 7pm PT
If you live in southern Ohio and are looking for the scariest place around to stay the night, contact the Sedamsville Rectory. Built not far from the Ohio River in 1889, it was the former Priest house for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, which is right next door. It was abandoned in the 1980's, almost a hundred years later. Although it was inhabited by religious clergy for most of its existence, there is something unholy residing within its walls now.
The present owners rent it out for paranormal investigations because there is so much activity no one else would stay there for any length of time. Three priests died in the house, and their bodies were all laid out in the parlor before burial. It does not seem likely that the spiritual residents of the home are priests, however.
Dog fighting can be heard from the basement. Sounds of scratching and of fighting on the back stairway have been reported by paranormal investigators who have spent the night there. Doors have been seen opening and closing without explanation. A creature called a “puckwudgie” (an evil spirit that reportedly has a mouthful of sharp teeth) has been seen in one of the upstairs bedrooms.
Many EVPs (Electric Voice Phenomena) have been recorded at the Rectory during investigations, including a child’s voice saying, “Help me.” Faint chanting in what sounds like Latin has also been recorded. The sounds of children shouting and playing have been picked up behind other conversations, as well.
Join Anthony and Luci as they review it's history and share their previous investigation as they get ready to investigate this infamous place one more time next week. It will be a night to remember!

    in Paranormal

Although the title is about different locations in South Carolina which are reportedly haunted, anything paranormal is a welcome topic. Whether you think that your home is haunted, or you've seen Bigfoot in your backyard, call in and discuss it with me.
A few of the locations that will be discussed are places where great human trauma occurred; such as some of the prisons and old mental hospitals in the Midlands of South Carolina, and the slave ports of the Charleston area.

  • PSHRadio Speaks To Dr. Barry E. Taff

    in Paranormal

Dr. Barry E. Taff, who holds a doctorate in psychophysiology with a minor in biomedical engineering, is a world-renowned parapsychologist who worked out of UCLA’s former Parapsychology Laboratory from 1969 through 1978 as a research associate.  During his four-decade career, Dr. Taff has investigated more than 4,500 cases of ghosts, hauntings, poltergeists and conducted extensive studies in telepathy and precognition, eventually developing the initial protocols and methodologies for what was later termed “remote viewing”.  He also, was himself, investigated as a psychic subject, the results of which were published in Behavioral Neuropsychiatry, “A Laboratory Investigation of Telepathy: The Study of A Psychic”, Vol. 6, Nos. 1-12, April-December 1974-January-March, 1975.
One of the cases Dr. Taff investigated in 1974 gained international fame as the book and motion picture, The Entity, starring Barbara Hershey and Ron Silver, released by Fox in 1983.  Dr. Taff served as technical advisor on The Entity as well as being represented in the film by the character “Gene Kraft”. What’s unknown by the media is the fact that, in real life, The Entity followed its female victim for quite some time after our initial investigation, continuing its vociferous nature. Doris Bither died in 1999 of cardiopulmonary arrest at the age of 58.
