Whenever Jesus taught in public he spoke in parables. In Matthew's account of this He tells His disciples that the speaks in parables because that's how he can tell the secrets of heaven and only those who are ready to understand can hear it. This week we continue our series of religious topics with a discussion of the teaching style of Jesus. Jesus taught exclusively in parables which could be very confusing to His listeners. Even His own disciples needed to have them explained. We've chosen two parables for discussion in the fastest half-hour on the planet, The parable of the haughty Pharisee and the humble Publican, and the parable of the swept house and the seven demons.
