My journey into all things spiritual I guess began as a child but I was completely unaware and just dismissed everything.
Being a child I had no understanding of death, spirits or otherwise.
There are a number of things I distinctly remember to this day which now make sense.
At around 9yrs old I remember having a dream that a little boy had died it was a Sunday night and the little boy was friend’s nephew and he was around aged 3.
My friend had an older married sister and the boy was hers.
The next day at school I told my friend about the dream and then she told me that the boy had died that weekend after I think choking on a safety pin.
Another strong memory I have but perhaps was a little younger my granddad died and I remember being somewhere but not sure if a hospital or mortuary. My granddad was in a big drawer and had pennies on his eyes and I was stood to the left of him. I have discussed this with my mum on many occasions and she says I was never taken to see my granddad after he had died.
There are a lot of other incidents but too numerous to mention but these two stick out clearly in my mind.
In 1986 my dad died and exactly a year after I was at my mum’s house and was sleeping in her bed as had worked a night shift and she was looking after my youngest who was 3yrs old.
My dad came to me as clear as day and he said “Hello my darlin”, I am not stopping” and then he went. My heart was racing but again I Still didn’t know anything so just kept that memory with me.

  • The Riley Johnson Custody Case

    in Podcasting

Tonight for the first time on It's Real Talk Radio we'll be having a custody case. Oh yeah, you heard right A CUSTODY CASE!! We know we've been away for a while so we wanted to come back with some true flavor and originality. So seperated spouses Michael Johnson and Samantha Johnson are battling for sole custody of Riley Johnson. There will be testimonies from both the petitioner and respondent along with some witnesses and yes we do have a judge who will be calling it down the middle. We give our word that none of us including the judge knows who's gonna win until it happens in real time! We intentionally designed it that way for thrill sake. It's gonna be an epic night on IRTR tonight so trust me when I say this is one episode that you definitely don't wanna miss. It's guaranteed to be action packed and very entertaining. Our call in # is 347-838-9540 but we won't be bringing any callers on air for this show; however, we do encourage you to call in and listen live or listen live online. • Lights Out Welcomes Long Island Paranormal Investigators

    in Paranormal

LIPI was founded in the spring of 2003 by Michael Cardinuto and Robert Levine. The group began as the result of exploring an old hospital building on Long Island. During the exploration they heard a loud banging noise in the building which could not be explained. Later while watched the video of the exploration they heard a loud banging that could not be explained. They  immediately became interested!
The group began researching the internet to find many urban legends and ghost stories on Long Island. Soon afterwards we went on our first official investigation to Sweet Hollow Road in Huntington. LIPI continues to investigate ghost stories and urban legends as well as receiving numerous requests to conduct private investigations on Long Island, in New York City, New York State and surrounding areas.
While performing investigations we use a scientific approach of "best practices" for our research. Some of the equipment we use on investigations includes cameras, EMF meters, temperature gauges, Geiger counters, digital audio and video etc. We investigate a suspected haunted site for a minimum of 10 hours (circumstances permitting) total to determine whether or not the site is in fact haunted. For each investigation the group completes a field report to keep track of how many times we’ve been on an investigation and keep track of all of our readings. When all of the field reports are complete we compile all of the data into one final report of the investigation site to determine if it is haunted or not.

  • Lights Out Welcomes Lisa Lamrock Host of Beyond The Veil

    in Paranormal

Lisa was born in Flint, MI and was relocated to Texas as a child. Her first paranormal experience was at the age of seven, seeing her deceased siblings (that she was unaware of until many years later) very vividly playing in the halls of the home. Also witnessed by her brother. She closed herself off to the paranormal due to the stigma attached until 2011 when the field became more widely accepted and of course has had many experiences since. She started investigating with large groups and solo investigators for experience until around 2013 when she was invited into a small group called 24 Hour Paranormal. After investigating with 24 Hour and gaining more experience Lisa decided to form her own group with her own visions April 1, 2014 which was called Southern Paranormal Investigation and Research Society. In 2014 SPIRS became affiliates with TCPS (The Canadian Paranormal Society) and NMPA (New Mexico Paranormal Association).  In 2015 Lisa helped organize Mineral Wells’ first Paracon and became Co-Host of Paranormal Swamp Talk with Jon McCoy 4/2015. September of 2015 Lisa began hosting her own show, Beyond the Veil, that she still produces on Sundays 6-7p CST. Lisa decided to return to solo investigating to focus more time and attention on spiritual growth, the show and traveling more in 2016 but still investigates with groups and on emergency residential cases.

About Hobbies

Riddle us this: What's the most geektastic thing you choose to do in your spare time? Are you a big-time gamer? A gardener? A Comic Con fiend whose loyalty falls on one side of the DC-Marvel spectrum? The way we spend our time outside work is as varied as our personalities, and let's face it, we're all nerds about something. Maybe your browser history shows you're bidding on a Star Wars action figure or a lamppost for your Lionel train layout. Perhaps your preference for the paranormal means you download every episode of America's Most Haunted. No matter your guilty pleasure, BlogTalkRadio allows hobbyists to geek out together on whatever it is they gravitate – or levitate – toward. Talk shop with bloggers, critics, even blog critics, on what matters to you, or steer the conversation by hosting your own niche show. Oh, and it probably goes without saying, Trekkies welcome here.
