  • Paul D. Parkinson - Selfless People Celebrating Acts of Kindness

    in Motivation

Author Paul Parkinson of his new book: Unselfish – Love Thy Neighbor As Thy Selfie.
Pauls the journey that cultivated this collection of 99 stories and full color photos of selfless people celebrates acts of kindness and extraordinary sacrifices of regular people and celebrities.
From high school football players helping a special needs girl fit in, to a police officer feeding a hitchhiker and her dog, to a Hollywood producer leaving behind a 7-figure job to help children in Cambodia, the true stories in this book will restore your faith in humanity. And maybe, just maybe, will inspire thousands of people to turn their cameras the other way and look for someone they can help.
It is no coincidence that Unselfish releases the same day as Kim Kardashian’s book, Selfish. Paul Parkinson, the author of Unselfish, believes this project is an important antithesis. “We plan to release Unselfish the same day,” says Parkinson, whose last project was Nowhere Safe, a film about cyberbullying. “We feel there needs to be a counterbalance. This is not a campaign against any individual or group of individuals. It is a campaign to address the growing culture of selfishness.”
Go to our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/unselfishstories) to read additional stories of unselfishness.  You can make posts there as well.  Keep sharing!  #UnselfishStories

Fear (False evidence of appearing real)
Fear is the #1 reason women do not know who they truly are.  Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.  They are fearful to find their true selves because they may discover they do not like who they truly are.  They fear greatly they would lose the crutch of holding on to all of their baggage because this is the only thing they have ever known.  Our goal is to move them to have faith in themselves and let go of their fear.  We will show them how fear can paralyze someone from moving forward in every areas of their lives.

    Forgiveness
Forgiveness is a very hard thing to do when someone has hurt you.  Forgiveness is the key to opening up a new world waiting for you.  Once someone realizes they can let go of their fear and begin to make peace with their past, they will learn how to move into the area of unforgiveness with themselves and others to the beautiful thing called forgiveness.  They will no longer blame the situation or person who may have caused them the damaged emotions.  Once they forgive, they can learn how to be free.

  • Karen Chaston on Win's Women of Wisdom

    in Motivation

On Win's Women of Wisdom today, Best Selling Author, Win Kelly Charles welcomes Karen Chaston: “Inspiring Women to Empower Themselves.” She is a wife, mother, author, speaker, former CFO publicly listed company, BraveHeart Women Resonator. Surprisingly, it took her son’s death for her to become more aware, grateful, healthier, energised and live in my Essence. Whilst Karen was perceived to be very successful, actually she was living a ground hog day existence, working, eating, and drinking too much, always in  fight mode, her masculine totally denying her feminine side,  running on empty, not fulfilled, not understanding that adrenalin in a woman’s body causes  burnout, exhaustion, and disconnectedness. Karen now inspires women to become their own best friend and live in their Essence. Creating more “conscious entrepreneurs”; who allow heart and soul, as well as knowledge and expertise, to guide their businesses. To learn more about Karen visit http://www.karenchaston.com.au.
