  • Change My Mindset, Change My Life!

    in Business

Change My Mindset, Change My Life. Say that phrase three times and pay attention to your thoughts. If you repeat the title of our program at least three times to yourself, your next few thoughts will be to wonder how you could possibly change your Mindset. What is Mindset? A Mindset is a set of beliefs, assumptions and methods held by individuals or groups that are so powerful, that those individuals or groups refuse to deviate from them. This causes people to stay in place, despite their expressed desire to grow and change. Each Sunday at 6:30 PM ET, invest just 15 minutes of your time as I share my 30 + years of experience at helping individuals and teams change their Mindset, and in so doing, help them to acheive what most people thought was impossible.
As a special gift, we offer you discounted access to our popular ResilienceOnline course. The course is based on 30 years of scientific research in Positive Psychology and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Elements taught in this course are also being taught to soldiers in the U.S. Army and incoming freshman at the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Her gentle manner, all around likeability, coupled with an extremely useful product made her a hit with Shark Tank fans. That solution was the Spatty. After creating the perfect tool for her dilemma in the bathroom, she decided that the same tool, only bigger, could be used in the kitchen, so the Spatty Daddy was born. • Back to School Stock Sales?

    in Finance

Wall Street keeps setting new highs, however "new money" isn't coming in. There is still a lot of dough on the sidelines, earning 0% interest, wondering what to do. One banking executive says it this way, "The economy is an economic mess because we print money. There are no investments to compete with stocks as there is no interest rate. The stock market goes up for the same reason a dictator gets 95pct of the vote: no alternative.”
According to Howard Silverblatt, the senior index analyst at S&P Dow Jones Indices, the fundamentals of publicly traded companies are good, it's just the perception of the marketplace that is not so good. "Fund and money managers have stayed in the market, with the joke being that they are too scared to be out of it," Howard wrote in a note in July.
Meanwhile, the Middle East is still in crisis, oil prices are at all-time highs and the 1st quarter GDP growth in the U.S. was a shocking contraction of 2.9%.
So, is this the calm before the storm or the rally? Did you know that September, when fund managers and American investors return from vacation, is historically the worst performing month of the year? Will this year be a true to form? Are you protected? Will you be able to pick up some bargains before the Santa Rally?

  • CONNECT! How to Turn Your Adversaries into Allies

    in Business

In sales, we're faced with persauding others in a wide variety of situations. And, every single day, we face resistance. We may even begin to see our buyers as adversaries... which leads us to resort to maninpulative or coercive tactics in an effort to win, to get what we want.
Of course, this mentality and approach only nets short term results (if anything at all). Leaving buyers feeling taken advantage of will only increase their resistance in the future.
There is a much better way, one that creates both immediate and long-term, sustainable results. Helping your buyers make decisions that are in your best interest AND in alignment with their best interest, too, is the superior approach.
However, doing this effectively, consistently and artfully requires influence. For some, there are natural abilities to access. For others, there are a set of learned skills that can help you become more influential.
Bob Burg, the author of the international bestseller The Go-Giver, has written an new book to help us master the Five Principles of Ultimate Influence. In this broadcast, he'll intrdouce these principles to listeners, along with specific ways you can turn your adversaries into allies.
CONNECT! Online Radio for Professional Sellers is your weekly resource for learning from the world's leading sales experts. Tune in every Saturday to cut out continuances, put an end to pending and stop stalling out in sales.
