It is some thing we hear about often. And it is usually considered to be a beneficial concept. Many, if not most, of us value and possibly use it as a criteria for picking their respective mates. But is this an overblown philosophy or way of thinking? Is the merit to this notion of children raised with both of their parents, and or even in healthy two parent homes, are make for more healthy mates in adult relationships?

Do people raised in single parent homes have unrealistic expectations of how their mate(s) and relationships are suppose to be? Do they have a lack of patience when their respective expectations are not lived up to? Are you able to tell if a person (specifically a woman) was raised without their father immediately? Does the lack of seeing both parents living together create serious incompatibility issues in those of us who did not have the luxury?
