The Female Solution: How Can Counseling Save A Troubled Marriage?

    in Religion

When couples begin to experience conflicts in their marriage, often the conflict escalates until the marriage ends in divorce. For many families, the idea of marital counseling is out of the question. "I don't want people in our business," is often the responds to suggestions that the couple seek outside help. Some cultures are very secretive when it comes to revealing marital problems and the result is sometimes physical or emotional abuse that goes unchecked. Children learn that it is better to suffer in silence than tell people, so they are being conditioned for abuse in their own marriages. How can counseling save a troubled marriage? Our relaionsip experts Mark Shahid and Muneerah Habeel explore the possibilities.

Why a Marriage Shouldn't End Because of an Affair

    in Relationships

People involved in affairs (or any behavior that can end a marriage) often do not think of the long-term consequences of their actions. Additionally, they re-write the short term consequences of their actions as well so they won't feel guilty for the behavior.

Tonight, in light of the public release of over 30 million email addresses from users of Ashley Madison, we will discuss why you should (or shouldn't) save your marriage after finding out about a spouse's affair. We will also discuss what the consequences are, and how you can use these consequences to actually help save your marriage.

A marriage doesn't have to end because of an affair.

Apistia is the word in the greek that is used for unbelief by adding the Alpa before Pistia it neglates the word which is believe in greek which denotes a weakness of faith in God. 1 Corinthians 7: 12-16 does not focus on unequally yoked but the unbelieving(apistia) which can also happen in the marriage as one who believes(pistia) falls away from believing in God Almighty. 1 Thessalonians 2: 1-3, 1 Timothy 4: 1 both Scriptures are talking about a falling away mean a Departure, Defection, a leaving from a previous standing which sums up to Apostacy. What are they leaving? God or what we call Christianity, Why, the Bible say's because of deception from the doctrines of men who appears to be agents of Drakon. In her English-speaking counseling practice in Milan, Italy, Karen Rigatti helps couples with relationship issues, parenting of a new baby and culture shock and other challenges faced by expats. How to Write a Contract To Stop Bad Your Spouse's Bad Behavior - Joe Beam Show

    in Relationships

People often ask if there is a method for establishing boundaries about negative or harmful behavior from a spouse.

    Yes, there is.

One of the most effective is to write a contract that clearly identifies the unacceptable behavior and firmly establishes consequences if that behavior occurs.

As simple as that sounds, we've discovered that many people have a number of questions about the why's, how's, what's, who's, and more.

I've asked my friend and co-teacher at our workshop for marriages in crisis to join me for this important program. His name is Jeff King. He earned his doctorate at Lipscomb University. More importantly, he has years of experience helping people with marriage problems. Jeff is rather direct and goes rapidly to the bottom line. He won't waste your time.

Join Jeff and me for this in-depth conversation that will give you the details you need to write a contract for your marriage that can have tremendous results.

  • I'm Cheating on You to Save Our Marriage!

    in Romance

You've been married for 8 years.  You have a 6 year old son and a 2 year old daughter.  You would do anything to protect your wife and kids.  However, your wife hasn't been the same since she had your son.  The intimacy is gone and the sex is not passionate.  You've talked to her, but to no avail.  She appears to have lost her drive for sex.

You're forced to make a decision: do I stay in a passion-less marriage or do I divorce my wife and essentially walk away from my kids?

What if I told you that there's a 3rd option?  Well, according to a FB friend of mine, cheating saved his marriage. He decided to get his sex outside of the home and that satisfied him enough to where he didn't divorce his wife and leave the kids.

He claims that cheating saved his marriage.  Had he not gotten sex somewhere else then he would have divorce his wife.  Can cheating save marriages?
