NASA engineer spent forty years studying the meaning of existence. Call in!

    in Spirituality

David Gaggin has degrees in math and electrical engineering. He worked for 17 years as an electronics design engineer and technical manager for Boeing, where he was responsible for designing automatic flight control and avionics systems.

Subsequently Gaggin spent nine years as a senior executive with the US Army directing avionics and command and control R&D. During this period he also directed joint Army/NASA laboratories at Langley and Ames and was the US Army’s representative on the NATO Advisory Group for Aerospace R&D. He then went on to create Cobham Defense Electronics Systems, the world’s leading military radar microwave subsystem company.

Taking advantage of his extensive training, he voraciously studied all the major religions and their origins. He studied the eastern and western philosophers. As a trained engineer he studied all the sciences including quantum mechanics, relativity, cosmology, anthropology, and archeology. He explored the history of languages, along with the history of agriculture and domestic farming. He studied reincarnation, mystics, and UFO’s.

Eventually Gaggin’s extensive research began to coalesce into answers that made sense to his scientifically trained mind. He began to apply the principles of what he was learning to his own life. Inspired by the results and wanting to pass along his understandings, he compiled his learnings into his groundbreaking book The Endless Journey:A Unique Perspective on Mankind's Origin, Purpose and Ultimate Destiny. “No matter what the reader’s spiritual understanding, all seekers of knowledge and wisdom will gain comfort and understanding from The Endless Journey,” says Gaggin.

    The Other Shoe

    in Women

This episode in our multi-faceted workshop on ‘self-hood' will really explore the old saying "TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE."

In 'Ruby Slippers', I touched on the idea of being kind to yourself and acknowledging the joy of simple moments.  Yet, I didn't really delve into the idea of 'What have I done for Myself lately?' In this episode we will discuss the fact that this really can be the beginning of a lifelong committment to getting You what You want.

The fact that you can bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan notwithstanding, when was the last time you did something just for you? Not because it fit into your work schedule... Or because someone in your family would enjoy it too... Or because it was on the way to... No.

Simply because You wanted to do it..?

Join me as we discuss this on what is truly the very first day of the rest of your life!

    Social Media Tuesday

    in Fun

Wait just a Leap-Second . . . One day for Social Media? Doesn't social media go on 24/7/365? Maybe it has something to do with Einstiens theory of Special Relativity. Naw, seems like more of an economic issue. Let's ask Dr. Thomas Sowell, PhD. He should know.

And if you want to find out, listen to today's show!

    Maybe Tomorrow...

    in Women

In this episode, we will examine the 'what-ifs' of the next day... I'll be better-thinner-stronger-prettier-sexier-smarter-taller-shorter-darker-... blah blah blah... and other stupid things that we think about ourselves.

And then, we will look at the other side of the coin:

Maybe tomorrow, I'll just be.. Me!

If you are looking for answers, or trying to figure out what the questions are, don't miss this show!

    The Time Space Continuum

    in Spirituality

Hermann Minkowski said that space by itself and time by itself is doomed to fade away but a union of the two will preserve an independant reality.  Join us as we cover more on this subject.
