Simply stated - Recovery is NO ACCIDENT! Thats right - we didn't just stumble onto recovery along Life's path. No - it wasn't until we stumbled and fell and pulled ourselves up again and stumbled and fell and moaned and groaned that we finally decided to take a different path in our live's to all out avoid the pitfalls and shortcomings that kept creating somewhat MAJOR casualties in our ongoing lives. We didn't Spiral out of control - yet often had uncontrollable moments that created such painful experiences that - we finally surrendered the fact that perhaps ALCOHOL (or Whatever our Addiction represented in our lives) perhaps it did get the best of us - that we were beaten up enough to conceed that we lost our battle of trying to control our use of Alcohol, drugs, sex, food, work, whatever our addictive nature was.

Yet here we are today clean / sober / respectful and respected by our fellow members in our lives...all because we found a way to let go of our addictions and follow a path of clean living.
