Up Late with Pinko the Bear - 5/27/14

Caleb Maupin will be on tonight's show at 11 PM Eastern. His appearance last week was cut short and BTR had some connectivity issues so we are going to have a do-over. He is an activist, organizer, political analyst and reporter.

Subjects should include... Imperialism, Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Ukraine, Syria, OWS, Cecily McMillian, The Fight for $15 and a Union, Class Consciousness, the push towards a new Cold War (and hot war), trade deal betwen Russia and China, Petro dollars, NSA and whatever else comes to mind.

I'll ask him about a few organizations he is involved with such as FIST/Fight Imperialism Stand Together, Workers.org/Workers World Party, and the International Action Center/IAC.

We are both now in NYC and there is a lot going on in the Social Justice arena, but that doesn't mean YOU can't get involved in creating a better world in your own city. Listening to what others are doing is always helpful, in my view, so please tune in at 11 PM Eastern - and - share this program with your social networks.
