Chris Williams and Mark Thomas discuss politics and current events from their perspective as young conservatives living in Wisconsin during this weekly program.
Wisconsin's Transportation budget is back in the news. With a few more months before the state legislature starts debating the next biennial budget, what will happen with the budget for the state's roads? State Senate and Assembly Republican leaders appear to be at odds with Governor Walker about whether to increase taxes or fees to fill the budget hole, or to remove some projects from the wish-list.
How did Paul Ryan and Scott Walker do at the Republican National Convention last week in Cleveland. How has the Democratic National Convention gone so far this week in Philadelphia? We'll talk some national politics, time permitting.
Doing my best to help the Lord set the brushfires of freedom in the hearts of men and to restore America, God willing, to the beacon of freedom she was meant to be.
Politics: What to say about the convention? This whole election cycle has been unreal. Ms. Clinton nominated through acclamation? Isn't that just a polite way of saying they did not allow the actual delegates to vote? Wikileaks and law suits, oh my.
Religion: A reading from the Bible to those of the muslim faith. Because God loves them too.
Doing What's Right: In order to maintain a garden, one must water and weed and plant and feed. In order to weed, one must be able to identify the weeds. And then, one must be willing to pull them. Our current culture needs a good lesson in weeding. And then we can move on to culling the herd in ranching.

Media mogul, Xander Gibb asks, how will we ever come together if we keep forcing segregation by dissecting people into identity groups? AND... how many allies need to be killed before America will step up and do something about ISIS? AND... the new billboard outside the RNC showing Donald Trump and Ted Cruz kissing. This isn't helping build any bridges or create constructive dialog!
Hr 2: Our president has the nerve to basically say "We have racist police departments all over the country". AND... Academics think that educating ISIS will make them stop fighting. AND... Students are in an uproar because their Chancellor expressed sympathy for the officers lost in the Dallas shooting. Why?
Hr 3: Jobs report... another 10,000 jobs bite the dust. But don't worry... we're recovering. AND... Libertarian presidential nominee, Gary Johnson says the threat of radical Islam is overblown. Wait! Who is this guy? Who gave him the microphone? AND... Regular guest and pundit Michael Hausam says the GOP is out of touch with reality. AND... Finally! A government exercising some common sense... Great Britain shuts down global warming agency. AND... Obama is trying to play guerrilla warfare using gentlemen's rules. It doesn't work.

Today we interview Daniel Lattier, the Vice-President of Intellectual Take Out---Feed Your Mind.
Why are conservatives losing?
Believe it or not, "freedom" might not be a winning idea. Now, one thing to understand is that most of the conservative think tanks lead with the term “freedom” in their missions and visions. They see freedom as the preeminent founding idea of America and the source of its exceptionalism, and they exist in large part to promote freedom in all its manifestations—the free market, free enterprise, individual freedom, etc. … “freedom” may still be a winning idea, but is the problem that it just needs to be messaged better to the American public?
His website, www.intellectualtakeout.org is designed to produce thought-provoking content that is both relevant and concise. It's mission is to we take complex ideas and break them down in a digestible form. Too many times, we turn off our brains and just repeat what we hear on the news without considering how much of it is truth and how much of it is "politically correct spin."
You will learn why some messages have failed to connect to the greatest needs of the voters.
Welcome to Home Front. Today we have Daniel Lattier,
