Tonight's special guest is Dr. Amy Saltzman from Santa Barbara, California, who says herstory is a bit atypical. "I began working with a life coach, Georgina Lindsey, at age 25, in 1989." Amy says, "In January of 2020 I asked to graduate, complete or transform the relationship. At that point she intensified her decades long gaslighting of me, telling me that either I had early Alzheimers, or was simply resisting my spiritual growth." She insisted Amy have a full neuropsychological evaluation. The evaluation included 7 hours of testing, the neuropsychologist speaking with Ms. Lindsey for 2 hours and Amy's husband for 1 hour. "Ultimately, the neuropsychologist determined that the relationship was one of undue influence/ covert emotional abuse/ coercive control," she explains. "In that moment I saw the entire web of decades of covert emotional abuse. As part of my healing, and to protect others from covert emotional abuse, which, data indicates, is as psychologically harmful or more harmful than physical and sexual abuse I created Spot A Spider." The intention of Spot A Spider is to protect people of all ages from all types of abuse covert emotional abuse (aka grooming) overt emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
