Teen hosts McMillen, Grace, Robert, and Salwa talk about suicide prevention with Trina Luttinger, Student Assistance Counselor from Contact Community Services. This powerful show sends the message to teens that they are not alone in their struggles and provides information on how to help someone having thoughts of suicide. Sources of Strength, a best practice youth suicide prevention project, is also discussed.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 3 adults age 65 and older fall each year. Of those who fall, 20% to 30% suffer moderate to severe injuries that make it hard for them to get around or live independently. Falls also increase the risk of early death.

This show was scheduled to increase healing & awareness. How to interact with someone who has shown suicidal ideations or depression, when to take them serious, how to create a contract, & who to refer them to will be discussed by our professional special guest.
