Emilee Saldaya Bio: I'm the founder of Free Birth Society and have been a Birth Keeper for almost 15 years. I ran my own for profit doula business for over a decade in Los Angeles and was a home birth midwife assistant. I now do private consulting in wild birth education and radical birth keeping. I also founded and run a non profit in Los Angeles that provides free birth and postpartum support to low income women and teens as well as free abortion and bereavement doulas to women experiencing pregnancy and fetal loss.

 I began the Free Birth podcast early last year which shares personal narratives of women birthing in power away from the oppressive medical model that has monopolized childbirth in the past century.
