Churches today are rapidly abandoning the fundamentals of the Christian faith, replacing them (the fundamentals) with Modernistic teachings from the latest New York Times Best Seller. Churches today are saturated today with the unbiblical, ecumenical and compromised teachings of such false teachers as: Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Benny Hinn, Kenneth & Gloria Copeland, etc. As an example Joel Osteen avoids the topics of sin, Hell and judgment like the Bubonic Plague. As a result, his "church" averages 44,000 attendees every Sunday. Rick Warren on the other-hand has embraced: "chrislam" (some aspects of christianity mixed with the teachings of islam). Both are professional ear-ticklers. They tell you what you want to hear. Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, and others are professional ear-ticklers telling you exactly what you want to hear, but are devoid of the truth. Yes they will occasionally preach something sound, but that is only so as to get you even more entangled into their web. Many pastors today wrongly preach a message of forgiveness without repentance. Yet we see in Acts 2:38 that repentance is to come before one is baptised. An infant or toddler cannot repent of something they do not know about or understand yet.

Many churches forget that the Holy Bible (the word of God) - the Holy scriptures - are supposed to be the Authority in a CHURCH. Too many pastors take it upon themselves to control people's lives, when they ought to be counseling people to make their own decisions using Biblical principles. Jesus told us in John 5:39 to... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES. Far too many people rely completely upon what their pastor or priest tells them, without ever considering if the advice or what is preached is actually Biblical.

A pastor is to be the greatest servant in the church!

Matthew 23:11
"But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant."
