Liam Garrity-Rokous, a rising junior trader, analyst, and Founder of LGRAnalytics.com and he will be on to discuss his path to the financial world, the grind, and what sparked the passion behind the pursuit.

Short bio:

I am currently a rising junior pursuing a dual major in Finance and Corporate Reporting & Analysis at Boston College in the Carroll School of Management (CSOM). My enthusiasm for finance and the stock market was sparked in high school, when I took a class on Investment Mathematics; I also was able to perform two independent studies in portfolio management under experienced investment professionals.  I was particularly interested in analyzing the approaches of portfolio managers with long-term, equity-oriented investment strategies. While I was originally interested in the technical analysis, my interest has since moved to value-based investing. Now, at BC, I am the vice president of Heights Capital, and a member of the Boston College Investment Club's analyst program. I also regularly write articles on companies, which I circulate through a newsletter, post on my website, and publish on SeekingAlpha. I have benefited significantly from several mentors, including Thomas Beevers (the CEO of StockViews).
