Alice Faye Duncan has been reaching children and enlightening them about historical figures and events through beautiful imagery and lyrical prose for more than two decades. Her books tackle heavy subjects but are written in a way that makes them appropriate for children. Alice has written about Gwendolyn Brooks, Martin Luther King, and Miss Opal Lee.
