Being attacked in your home by those that say they love you is a hurtful experience. It causes depression, anxiety, and a number of physical ailments as a result of stress. Many people fear the violence of strangers, but statistics show that when it comes to crimes of violence, even murder, you are more likely to be harmed by the people closest to you - the ones living in your own house.  Many live lives of fear and isolation out of the shame of enduring abuse from their spouse. Some children are physically and emotionally abused in the name of "discipline" and because their parents were raised using the same tactics of abuse, they continue the tradition in their own homes, terrorizing spouses and children with humilation, insults, threats, and actual violence as a means of controlling others' behavior.  Are you chronically depressed? Do you live in a state of anxiety? How do you know if you are living in an abusive household? Today's guest Sheila Wilson, a domestic violence survivor, will tackle the topic of domestic violence: how to recognize it, how to stop it, and how to heal from the emotional hurt. We'll also be joined by her daughter Simone Wilson, a mental illness survivor, who will discuss mental illness, how to recognize it and how do you select the right treatment?
