The show today begins a three week investigation into the Coffee Party USA.  Our first show will look at the origins of this organization, from the single comment first posted on a FaceBook page to more than 1,100 paid members and 400,000 "Likes" on the main FaceBook page for the group.

It is an amazing, and sometimes controversial history. As a Non-Profit Grassroots organization to a mainstream political movement, Coffee Party USA has in its past ignited the passions and activism of American citizens across our land--and even on multiple continents.

Like any truly grassroots organization, the Coffee Party USA has seen both success and failure, riding the wave of American political life from your house to the White House, and every step in between.

For the activities, activists and activism of America, grassroots organizations are full of excitement and difficulty as they work to become the change they seek in our land.

Citizen becomes the change they seek. It is most often a rugged and dirty, messy business fraught with danger, and replete with amazing success for those who can safely navigate the often murky waters of activism.

We hope you will join us as we begin a conversation, a journey, and a real look at what makes grassroots activism succeed and fail. Our chat room is open, and our phone lines are available.

We're on the air!

We'll see YOU there!
