Daphne describes Nashville as distinct from either LA and NY music scenes as in Nashville there remains a focus on the lyrics and the craft of writing lyrics with story and continuity. Daphne reminds us that, “song writers can write a melody, (but in Nashville) its all about the phonetics and phrasing of something, actually creating something meaningful within that melody.” Daphne talks to Donald about the inspiration behind her new song "Dopamine" and her road of recovery from addiction to inspiration.
