#ExpressoTechSIP -Do Your/Boss/Team/Job Risk Tolerance Align? - Episode #637

If you are frustrated with your manager, your job, or with your whole organization, maybe it's because your risk tolerance is not aligned.   Every person has their own internal risk tolerance meter and depending on everything else that's going on around you (personally, corporate-wide, environmentally, politically), sometimes your risk tolerance is extremely low.  When your tolerance is low and your work environment is aggressively pursuing risk, then it will immediately create a harsh working environment.  Perhaps when you started with the company they weren't as aggressive about pursuing risk but perhaps something has changed (i.e. they want to go public, their stock has dropped, their competition is taking their market share).   Understanding your personal risk tolerance and how to align yourself with your organization can help you see your job and your role in a new way that's more rewarding.
