Really? You Can't See the Forest Past the Trees!

My toughest challenge in life was to forgive those who has hurt me. It’s not easy, but I realize it's necessary for my growth.  Forgiveness is not for them, it's for you- it is powerful tool for your growth. 

As a Victor of abuse, I found myself reflecting on the growth I have gained by forgiving the past: the past hurt, the past pain, the past abusers, the past affiliations. Before then,  I allowed the past to keep me in bondage. Having so much rage and so full of anger, at the time, I couldn't see the forest past the trees.  But now,  as the songwriter says,  "When I look back over my life and I think things over, I can truly say that I am bless, oh yes,  oh yes I'm bless....."
