Compliance Alliance: Violet Anne Golden & Jack Shirley

On this month’s edition of Compliance Alliance, host Richard Williamson will focus on Caribbean gaming to coincide with the Caribbean Gaming Show held in Puerto Rico this year. Williamson will be joined by Violet Anne Golden, commissioner of the Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission, and Andral “Jack” Shirley, executive director of Jamaica’s Betting, Gaming & Lotteries Commission (BG&LC). Commissioner Golden is the Virgin Island champion for bringing Internet gaming to that area of the world and is a strong advocate of using this form of gambling as a marketing tool to drive tourism to the Virgin Islands. The BG&LC is headed in new directions since Shirley took the helm as executive director in 2013, and he will speak to that and what the industry can expect in the future.  Set a reminder and tune in to hear what’s new in the Caribbean and what developments are on the horizon.
