This week's topic:  Planning for growth. One of the primary reasons for business failure is rapid growth which creates needs for people and resources that are not in place. It is great to build the revenue base with sales but without the ability to service the new and existing clients many problems can arise. For example a manufacturer or distributor can sell more than they can make or deliver. A service provider may not have the people to deliver the services and/or continue to provide timeliness as well as quality. Goals and plans of action are critical for success
