From the NY Times article on the preschool battle to the HBCU Dilemma, the education discussion is a hot topic.  Join us for #Real Talk about education in the inner city with Terrell M. Hill is the founding Principal of High School, Inc.: Hartford’s Insurance and Finance Academy, which opened in August 2009. Principal Owens will join the Murchison Girls in a serious discussion about the challenges in educating children in teh inner city.  the important of being an active parent in the inner city AND how important education is to moving upward and out of the inner city.

High School, Inc. is a National Academy Foundation (NAF) Finance Academy. Mr. Hill currently works for the University of Connecticut in UCAPPS PLUS program as a Professor of Practice. In 2012 he was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick to the Trustee Board at Westfield State University in Westfield, MA.
