Lisa Taron and Dr. Lorie Huston

Join us tonight on REINetwork with Lisa Taron, The Pet Blog Lady from Canada and Dr. Lorie Huston, renowned veterinarian and author from Washington, D. C.  Listen as these ladies discuss very difficult subjects about death and a once uncurable disease.

Lisa Taron discusses the difficult subject of coping with the loss of our beloved pets. Lisa offers us insight into how dogs cope with each other's deaths and how humans cope with pet death and pets cope with losing their humans.  In a few words....grieving with the loss of family members and ignoring people who calously state "it's just a dog."

Tonight Dr. Lorie gives us information on heartworms and how to best prevent them.  Do you know how often you should give your pet heartworm medicine - seasonally, yearly, or monthly?  If you don't know the answer to this question you must listen so that you know how to prevent this fatal disease that leads to an agonizing death.
