Whether it’s after leaving Scientology or after leaving any other cult, there are common behavioral patterns.
Because a previously-scheduled guest was unable to connect on air, X-Women host Colleen Sautez took the opportunity to review an eye-opening article by Kim Baker titled “Post-Scientology Behavioral Patterns.” Colleen shared her own experiences and observations about how people can heal from abusive religious organizations.
Please visit GodDiscussion.net for a schedule of upcoming shows, including a re-scheduling of Colleen's interview with Pete Griffiths.

It's October, that time of year when our thoughts turn to the spirit world. On this show, Jennifer will be discussing the spirits of animals--not only our pets, but animals that lived in the forests, fields, and oceans. The American Indians and many other ancient tribes around the world had great reverence for the animal kingdom. They believed that animals in spirit were actually around us, to help us and guide us.

We’ve all heard stories about animals who defy destiny and go from the jaws of death to an idyllic life at an animal sanctuary. Stories of cows who jump seemingly impossible heights to escape slaughter and chimps rescued from laboratory research facilities are familiar, but there’s much to it than that. Where do the other animals come from? How do they juggle a virtual Noah’s ark of animals so everyone is happy? What does it take to run an animal sanctuary? And what happens when it’s full? We will talk about these and many more questions (bring your own questions to the conversation if you’d like to!) during our show with Kathy Stevens, Founder and Director of the Catskill Animal Sanctuary in New York and Steve and Helen Rayshick, founders, caretakers and guardians of Sunny Meadow Sanctuary. These stories need to be told and that’s exactly what we’ll share with you. Please join us for an inspiring, touching and eye-opening show!
We read in all the Gospels, how Jesus seems particularily interested in children, not just children of God but children in general. Luke 18:15-17 says, " Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to Him and said, " Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not recieve the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." So how can we recieve the kingdom of God as a little child? Do we become observers of children to learn from them? Are we to look at kids for an example of how to relate to the kingdom of God? How are we to see God in the context of Father unless we are in the context of a child? Why did Jesus tell us that we have to become like a child? Can a child have three things that we seem to grow out of as we grow up ? Humility , trust and dependence? Is maybe " childishness behavior ", keeping us from growing up and becoming mature, especially in our Christian walk?
