Patterns that are ingrained in us that make us feel that because it came out of a Mzungu mouth that it's right or better. A racist act that Karen or Becky do, but have been doing them for so long they feel that they're not racist. Are making statements like the Wells Fargo CEO who said that there aren't enough qualified black people, to work for Wells Fargo. But black women are the leading MBA holders in America. So that statement was unconscious bias that had no merit. What he was really saying, that he didn't feel that there were qualified enough to work for his company. But he really believed what he was saying was true. Let's talk about it.
