“Fixing education isn’t the key to fixing poverty. POVERTY is the key to fixing EDUCATION”

More than a decade has passed since the enactment of Public Law 107-110 and still poor children don’t have the guarantees that they will graduate from high school and then be admitted to a first rate college or university, which aligns them with a productive future.

Over 50 million students head off to approx. 98,500 elementary and secondary schools for the fall 2015 term, and an estimated $634 billion will be spent related to their education.  But how and on what are these dollars being spent?

Hot Topics Talk Radio has assemble a panel of top educators and lecturers to provide you with valuable information on the state of today’s education, and what is needed for your child/children to receive a quality education and life skills for a productive future. Our panel includes:

  • Satra Zurita, Compton Unified School District
  • M.C. El Bee, Legendary Hip-Hop Artist/Lecturer
