The Empowerment Zone’s disability round tables Mission is to boldly encourage and motivate people with disabilities to reach out and learn how to live life as independently as possible, while learning about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and us working to change society’s views of people disabilities along the way and that means all of us everywhere getting involved!

Tonight we want to discuss what we as persons with disability can do together to build stronger empowerment zones all over USA and around the world to help build a brighter and bolder future for people with disabilities to take charge of their destinies and live a self-directed meaningful life and that means inclusion in life and every way. So join us in a discussion on The Empowerment Zones Disability Round Table!

My name is Les Paul Morgan. I work for Center for Independent Living, which strives to help people disabilities feel inclusion in their lives in every way. There is a Center for Independent Living in all 50 states and US territories and beyond! The four main core services of an independent living center are:

Advocacy, Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills, and Peer Support

The Empowerment Zone’s Mission statement is to boldly encourage and motivate people with disabilities reach out and learn how to live life as independently as possible, talk about the meaning and the purpose of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and work to change society’s views of people disabilities along the way and that means all of us everywhere getting involved!
