This was a busy week. The economy is solidly rebounding. We had a great employment report. Another story peeked my interest. As someone who works out a lot who takes a lot of supplement I was flabbergasted by a report that I may simply be taking fillers. This is proof positive we need more regulations, not less.
I also want to touch on Former Mississippi State Republicans Senator Tim Johnson switch from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party. His reasons sounded like he became a staunch Liberal.

This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.
Tonight we discuss the topic of state regulations. In California, there is a bill that has passed the California Assembly that imposes an additional mandate on STI testing than the ones currently used by adult film performers, and requires that all producers disclose those records with the Department of Industrial Relations, which some are calling a clear violation of privacy. Some people call state regulations a necessary evil, and some people call it unneeded “nannying” by the state. Tune in as Sarah and Bennet discuss state regulations and their effect on everyday citizens.
In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer, talks to the founders of LionAid.org, Dr. Pieter Kat and Christine Macsween to discuss new import regulations in the EU to protect our big cats and other species. LionAid.org is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of lions. Their mission is to create awareness about the huge decline of the lion population and work with government officials and other organizations to cease the legal hunting of these animals. Lions are a major trophy for hunters. Despite their well-documented decline, there is still a considerable trophy hunting effort. Since the last-published decline in lion numbers on the continent were made public in 2002-2004, over 4,400 lions have been exported as trophies. As such, trophies are largely male lions. The effect of this commercial activity has greatly impacted both overall lion numbers and the ability for remaining lions to reproduce. Trophy hunting must cease.
