The republican elected officials, favors business. Destroying the unions will result not only in government workers being replaced by private workers. But private workers will be paid “whatever”. The salary of government workers is a myth. Government workers actually make less that private industry workers of the same classification. The benefits are basically the difference. The point here is if the republican politicians get their way, America goes back. If unions go down, middle class prosperity shrinks.
