February, the shortest month is packed with events and holidays of the heart. We get Valentine Day! President's Day! Madi Gras! and Lent begins! Black History Month is also celebrated this month mostly by Blacks. There will be lots of spending and lots of entertaining. Tribute is paid to inventions and accomplishments of Blacks. Whites and Blacks ask why Black History is celebrated. It's time for a national honest discussion. America's politicians need to answer the question with honest talks about the role government played in the beginning of slavery, during and after slavery was abolished. Politics setup this America. Politics must tear down this America. Politicians must lead a candid, respectful, conversation about slavery, abolistion, broken promises, laws that created a new slavery, and killings of free Blacks that went unpunished. Only government can facilitate much needed conversations to deliver an all inclusive America. Time for politicians to roll up their sleeves and put slavery behind us in America.
Midterm 2014 election favors republicans. Republicans interperts 2014 election as the people's wish to be jobless, without healthcare, and underemployed. Afterall, republicans are the ones who wants jobs outsourced, while Americans remain jobless. American is on the right track today. Jobs are being created purposely by at least 300 CEOs who promised PBO they would hire during 2014. Republicans does not agree Americans need Jobs, Wage increases, Affordable Health Care, 21st century infrastructure, Promises kept to veterans, Immigration reform, Equal citizenships rights for LGBT, Voting rights for all Americans, 21st century guns laws and Judicial, Social, and Economic equality. These things will bring prosperity opportunity to all Americans and profit margin levels for the wealthiest like never seen before. All these things are possible but only if working class join together and tell politicians to focus on jobs for Americans now, and not 2016 jobs for themselves. The economic system is broken
Bill loosens up this morning at 8AM-10AM EST "In the Pickle Barrel". Bill asks, "Do you know politicians can make some pretty stupid, obnoxious and down right ignorant comments? Wait a minute, that was a stupid question."
Join Bill "In the Pickle Barrel" for a totally differenet whimsical look at those who want power and recognition totally embarrass themselves..and us,
You can join in the conversation by jumping into yhe online chat room. Better yet, call Bill and share some stories of your own at 855-236-2486. Surely you know at least one oops comment by a politician.
Politicians and CEOs are taking America back to 19th century and non-voters are to blame. Americans have to put the puzzles pieces together. Cost of living, wages and voting is political and is tied directly to our lives whether we vote or not. Poverty continues in America thanks to GOP blocking bills. If we are to lower unemployment, raise wages, stop the endless votes to repeal ACA, and end American invovled wars we must figure out politicians can pass pass bills to make these things happen. Politicians are passing bills to favor CEOs. CEOs interest is no taxation for corporations; no litigation being brought by poor people against corporations; getting rid of government regulations. CEOs want to make more profit without investing in workingclass / consumers. If America continue to not vote, ALEC, SCOTUS and Politicians gets what they want. Two classes of Americans. Wealthy who lives long lives and poor who die young untimely deaths.
General elections favors people resulting in angry republicans. Midterm elections favors Republicans resulting in republicans saying the people want us to rule. Republicans rule is to favors the top 1% of wealthies of Americans. There are 80% of Americans sharing 7% of the entire wealth of the nation. Surely this is not enough for you and your children? With no jobs, no increase in wages, no healthcare, will you be able to leave to your children more than or at least as much as your parents left to you? Are you content to live with less than what is required to retire and live comfortably? Hold people in leadership roles accountable. Work to gain the best of America for self and family. Fail to require more get less. Immigrants come to America expecting more. They leave their homeland and come and gain rewards from jump street. Immigrants get jobs with good pay and Americans remain jobless. Immigrants claim more for themselves and their families. Politicians and CEOs reap monetary rewards, and Americans sulk and complain and settlle for whatever crumbs thrown from the tables of politicians. Demand more gain more. Politicians focus is on 2016 elections. Not on Americans jobs, not wages, not healthcare!
Where your treasure is, so is your heart. This Black History Month, I'm calling on Politicians, Business owners, CEOs, Managers and Entrepreneurs to Pay Tribute to America's Black History Month with a heart for America. Black unemployment is in double digits. The national is at 5.7%. Bring down Black unemployment and bring down the nation's unemployment. Why are Blacks denied the experience of financial stability? When was the last time you had no income, no savings, no job, no self-esteem? Many people have never and will never want. Where we are born in America dictates all too often what things will and will not happen in our lives. Blacks contributes with inventions, accomplishments and being good citizens. Yet when it comes to prosperity, Blacks are last hired, first fired and everything in between, resulting in too high uenmployment and fewer comfortable retirees. Love is an action word. Politicians who love America? Help America! Assure Black and White Americans are hired. Pass jobs bills.
It is Time for U.S. Term LImits - Citizen Legislators NOT Career Politicians!
Guest: Nick Tomboulides, Executive Director of U.S. Term Limits since 2013, overseeing its national grassroots activism efforts in support of a constitutional amendment to term limit the U.S. Congress. Nick also serves as Editor of the Term Limits National Blog at TermLimits.Org.
U.S. Term Limits has been fighting for term limits at all levels of government since 1992. U.S. Term Limits played a key role in enacting term limits by ballot initiative on 15 state legislatures and 23 congressional delegations, the latter being thrown out by a 1995 Supreme Court decision. Today, USTL’s main focus is on enacting a constitutional amendment to term limit the entire U.S. Congress to no more than three House terms and two Senate terms.

Thomas Jefferson wanted Term Limits
"General Washington set the example of voluntary retirement after eight years. I shall follow it, and a few more precedents will oppose the obstacle of habit to anyone after a while who shall endeavor to extend his term. Perhaps it may beget a disposition to establish it by an amendment of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson to J. Taylor, 1805.
"I apprehend that the total abandonment of the principle of rotation in the offices of President and Senator will end in abuse." --Thomas Jefferson to E. Rutledge, 1788.
"If the principle of rotation be a sound one, as I conscientiously believe it to be with respect to this office, no pretext should ever be permitted to dispense with it, because there never will be a time when real difficulties will not exist and furnish a plausible pretext for dispensation." --Thomas Jefferson to H. Guest, 1809.
Where your treasure is, so is your heart. Black History Month is a call for change in America for Black Americans and especially for workingclass Americans. We are being held hostage by politicians and ceos and the only way to break free is for workingclass Americans of all colors to demand jobs, healthcare, and raises in wages, and end to open ended wars of other lands. We have to look at the facts of where we are and how we arrived where we are. We then have to be proactive, decided what it is we want, how we get what we want, and who needs to do what to gain what we want. Politicians are accountable to all America. You can't tell it by the actions politicians take to improve profits and bonus' of CEOS while suffering of average citizens grows daily. We the people can and ang must can make judicial, economic, and societal changes within our borders.
