Recently a well known and influential pastor and ecclesiastical leader with the Pilgrim Assemblies of the World, Archbishop Michael E. Turpin made church news by being the subject of gossip regarding mental health issues many clergy face. Turpin and his wife are in serious conflict over her alleged infidelity and his mental illness. Over my years in ministry I have seen how clergy family relations affect churches.
