Living Black In This World/The Charleston Church Shooting

    in Current Events

Wise Wayne & Lateefah along with callers talk about the S.C. Charlston Church Shooting and discuss about living black in America and  the world. Why do people down play and say there is no such thing a color? Why do white people or and people in general down play racism and injustice like it does not exist? Why do people turn a blind eye to this problem? Why are people victim blaming and not giving respect to the black man and woman? All of this causes black people to have self hate and doubt so we as a black race turn fickled and lost. No one knows what to do. So it's each it's on in a lost world. Lets come together and talk and shed some light on these issues that need to be talked about and dealt with.

Single Women in the Black Church

    in Religion

The Single Woman in the Black Church

Black females have long been considered the backbone of the  Black community and the cornerstone of their families and churches.  But what is the price Black women have paid to wear this crown of fool’s gold.

An examination of any congregation of average Black church shows that single Black females fill the pews.  Results of a recent study “ African Americans and Religion” by the PEW Research Center’s Forum on Religion and Public Life found that “African Americans are markedly more religious on a variety measures than  the U. S.  population as a whole.”

Almost 90% of  Black Americans express “absolutely certain belief in God” compared to just over 70% of the total U.S.  population,  Two other important statistics gleaned from this survey:  (1) 80% of Black Americans report that religion

Is their lives as compared to 57% of the general U.S. population;  and 55% of Black Americans report that  they  “interpret scripture literally”  as compared to 32% of the general U.S. population.

The PEW study also reported that “Men are significantly more likely than women to claim no religious affiliation,  Nearly one-in-five men say they have no formal religious affiliation, compared with roughly 13% of women.”

Barbara Billingsley, Tara Billingsley, Erica George, Lydia Davis and Nycole Johnson discuss the topic.

Black Church Expose-God Hates Black Women

    in Entertainment

comments from America -BlackRam313 4 days ago
I'm amazed at how black women are strong and independent except when it comes to taking responsibility for their fuck ups, then they are helpless victims...lol, Black Women are sick

jdareyah 1 month ago The problem with blacks in all religions is that, none want to admit they are deceived, and ignorant, and not only that, they proud of it. How dare you insult their intelligent by telling them they been following lies wholeheartedly all their lives for decades??? For when you exposed the truth of what the scriptures really says, and show them how all religions are full of shit and excludes blacks/Yisrael from them, in addition to contradict what the bible says, those people hate you for it.The same people who claim to love the bible, and "god/Jesus" and walk around with their I love jesus hats and T shirts, will hate you and cuss at you when you show them what the bible really says and mean.

RTR: Tithing, The Black Church And The Black Community

    in Christianity

Some estimates say that more than $12.5 billion a year is taken in by the black church each year, but how much of that money actually goes back into the community from where it came?   How many times have you seen a very nice church in a run down community?   The church collects tithes and offerings from it's members, but do the members have access to those same funds when they may need them?  Handing out school supplies, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners are great, but what about the everyday needs of the people in the community in which the church resides?  We applaud those churches that have soup kitchens, food pantries and a benevolance fund and don't require folks to jump through hoops to receive financial assistance every once and a while, but many churches do no such thing.  How has tithing and giving money to the church effected the economic well being of the black community at large.  We are not talking about any individual church here, but the black church as a whole. Join RTR this and every Sunday at 10am est, as we talk about this and more.  You can also listen live by calling 661.449.9951

Rachel Dolezal and Being Black/Transracial & Does Your Church Need Security?

    in Lifestyle

The revelation that Rachel Dolezal, now former head of Spokane, Washington’s NAACP chapter, is white but identifies as black has prompted a social media and cable news blitz as the country tries to make sense of a person who has artificially constructed her racial identity. Many have dubbed her as “transracial,” while others have decried that “transracial” is not actually a thing. Caught in the crossfire is a group that actually does identify as transracial, but whose identities and experiences in no way relate to Dolezal’s fabrications.

What do you think? Can people be “transracial”? Does this truly exist?

Several days ago a man walked into a church with a gun and killed 9 people in cold blood. This was a very tragic incident.  With that said, does your church need to consider security?

What do you think? We want to hear from YOU!

Thank you for the continued support.
