As Executive Director of Winning Workplaces, Mary Corbitt Clark, is instrumental in fulfilling its goal of assisting small and midsize employers to make their workplaces better for people and better for business. Winning Workplaces is a not-for-profit organization founded by one of the families who owned auto parts manufacturer Fel-Pro, Inc., which was nationally recognized for its innovative people practices and outstanding financial performance. We'll talk about their upcoming event in Chicago, The ROI of Great Workplaces, on October 1 and 2. Winning Workplaces was established to carry on the legacy of Fel-Pro that made it No. 4 on FORTUNE's 1998 list of the "100 Best Companies to Work for in America." Ms. Corbitt Clark has held senior management positions in human resources and organizational consulting firms, specializing in small to midsize companies, and has established human resources functions for entrepreneurial ventures. She also spent 14 years in career, management and organizational development consulting with Jannotta, Bray & Associates; Right Associates; and People Tech Consulting. Early in her career, she served as Director of Admissions at Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She is on the faculty of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
