Day of Atonement

The Day of Atonement according to Leviticus 16:31-33 and Numbers 29:7, was set aside for the people of GOD to "ATONE" or make amends (correct) their crimes, deficiencies, errors and offenses against GOD, themselves and others.

It was a day set aside for the people of GOD to be reconciled, which also means "RESTORED" to communion (intimate communication/fellowship) and harmony with ELOHIM (their Creator and Maker). 

The Priest (or vessel ORDAINED of GOD) made ATONEMENT for the Sanctuary (he or she prepared the place where amends would be made), prepared the meeting flow and led ALL of the people in assembly (participation) into repentance, prayer and cleansing.

ELOHIM (Our Creator and Maker) has made us some Life, History and World changing promises for this NEW Year 2015, but with these promises comes "CONDITIONS".

Thus saith JEHOVAH (the GOD who "REVEALS"), If you will listen diligently to the voice of the LORD your GOD, being watchful to do ALL HIS commandments which I command you this day; the LORD your GOD "WILL" set YOU high above all the nations of the earth. And ALL these blessings shall come upon YOU and OVERTTAKE YOU..."IF" you heed the voice of the LORD your GOD (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
