As an entrepreneur, what do we do when a crisis comes?  When we have issues that come up in our lives the most common thing we want to do is to avoid it.  We hope that maybe if we don’t deal with it then it will go away.   The more empowering AND TERRIFYING  approach is to take an issue that comes up in our life and face it.  And then there is our willingness to accept help from others, even the people who love us.  We don’t want to be a burden, we are afraid that if we ask for help.  The truth is that our true empowerment comes when we bring all of us to everything we do.  This is the most true when we learn to ask for help when we need it. There are people who want to help!

Steve Kidd is joined by two amazing ladies who help women during perhaps one of the most difficult and frightening things that can happen in life – being diagnosed with breast cancer.  Their organization gives help and support not only to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer but also to their families and support system.

Meet Sharon Henefin and Becky Olsen from Breast Friends.  Sharon and Becky are going to share with us today some ways to learn to ask for the help and not go it alone in our times of crisis.  We will learn how even in the worst of situations there is a way we can THRIVE.
