Good morning! Today on The Meter, we will cover Donald Trump's clear victory in the New Hampshire primary last Tuesday. Nikki Haley came in 12 points behind Trump after out spending him by nearly 3-1 and having many more on-the-ground appearances. Added to Iowa, Trump is now set to cruise to the Republican nomination, but Haley is resolute to remain in the race through Super Tuesday on March 5th, obviously irritating Trump. Will there even be a challenge to a Trump nomination? Also, Writer, E. Jean Carroll has been awarded $83M by a jury against the former president and Republican front-runner by a jury that he defamed her reputation. Trump has vowed to file an appeal proclaiming his innocence. How will this judgment affect the presidential election and Trump's chances now and possibly November? Now, on to the border, Texas is standing up to the Biden administration over razor wire being deployed on the frontier with Mexico. The US Supreme Court said federal agents can remove the wire, but Texas says they won't interfere but will put it right back up afterward. Is there a constitutional crisis brewing between Texas and the United States. Also, just this morning, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has articles of impeachment filed against him over his testimony before Congress, which allegedly that the border is secure. These charges with 10 million illegal aliens entering is now the top issue with voters. How will this play out in November? Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call-in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential.
