Good morning. Today, on The Meter, we will cover the election results in Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky, as the Democrat Party won elections and ballot initiatives in the off year elections, beating expectations and giving Democrats momentum going into next year. Here in Virginia, the Democrats won control of both legislative chambers by 1 seat each, in the first statewide election after redistricting. In Ohio, voters approved an amendment that protects abortion up to the moment of birth and legalized recreational marijuana use. Both measures were heavily backed by Democrat Party donors. What does this signal for 2024? Also, the Israeli-Hamas war continues, civilian casualties mount, as IDF ground forces push deeper into Gaza. International condemnation grows against Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as the loss of civilian life. Israel has paused its attack daily and opened a corridor for civilians to flee south. There is no end in sight as Israel prepares to enter tunnels underneath Gaza. How will the war play in America votes in 2024? Back to next year's elections, Donald Trump still leads the Republican field after the 3rd debate, as the 45th President held a clashing rally with thousands of supporters. The Minnesota Supreme Court tossed a lawsuit aimed at keeping Trump off the ballot as Michigan and Colorado try as well. All while the court cases against Trump are pending, Hillary Clinton compares Trump to Hitler, and new polls have Trump topping Biden in crucial states. Will the efforts to GET TRUMP backfire as Biden's numbers sink. Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call-in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential.
