The relationship between men and women has for too long been marred by the underlying fear of sexual assault, which creates generation of emotional trauma. Today we will explore the relationship of trust that is broken when cultural attitudes toward sexuality do not evolve to a higher state of consciousness involving respect for the bodies and personal space of others. Are our religious beliefs helping us evolve in this regard or are they keeping us at a lower state of existence, in which women (and children) must live in a constant state of apprehension that they could be physically violated? How do we heal the emotional trauma from this experience?
