The national attention drawn to Baltimore Raven's running back Ray Rice for knocking his then fiance Janay Palmer unconscious then dragging her out of an elevator has been the platform for many counselors and experts on domestic violence. The two have since married and a sad faced Janay has appeared on television stating that it was wrong for the NFL to suspend her husband Ray. Before one takes sides or bashes the man for being a batterer or tells the woman she must have low self esteem, we all must take a look at our own relationships. We have all chosen to live in a society that exploits and abuses us. If you are in a relationship with someone who treats you badly, don't ask "What's wrong with them?" or even "How can I change them?" Ask yourself "Why am I choosing to be abused?" Today's guest, Tom O'donnell, explains a basic system of cooperation that, if followed, can change the society we live in forever.
