Should You Kick A Rebellious Teen Out of Your Home?

Parents are often frustrated when teenagers become disrespectful and rebellious.  The response of many parents is "So, since you think you're grown, GET OUT!" And the result is a homeless teen, on the streets, striving to fend for himself or herself, often preyed upon by unscrupulous adults who lead vulneral young people into drug sales, prostitution, and other criminal conduct. So, how does a parent handle it when their teenager gets to be more than they can handle? Should we throw our rebellious teens to the streets? Or is there a better way to handle the conflict?
