In 1973, there was a tennis match that shaped US culture. It was a match against 55 year old Bobby Riggs and 29 year old Billie Jean King. This was the beginning of the battle of the sexes. In all battles, there are winners and losers. Since this battle has been happening for 48 years, the winner should be apparent. Have men won? Or it is women? Has society benefitted?

Women have access to higher paying jobs while demanding equal pay as men. However, when you examine the dynamics of this decades long battle, the US may have started a fight where no one wins.
