Our returning guest, Shereel me ke akua wale no-Washington is a certified herbalist, professional dancer, instructor and choreographer, and martial artist. She is a progressive student at the California School of Herbal Studies with certificates in Body Systems and Herbal Crafting. She also operates a home based business, IXALTED Natural Body & Botanicals, in Oakland, CA. 

Shereel’s 40-year dance experience includes modern, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, traditional Congolese & Senegalese, African Diasporic Genres, and Hula. She teaches and performs throughout the U.S. and Hawai’i, having won critical accolades for major performances in the New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. She has also been recognized as a pioneer in the Christian & Praise Dance genres.

Sumatra's weekly discussions are on how we will survive and sustain life as we know it.  As we get through COVID-19, nothing will be the same.  From social interaction to how we consider our faith, the atmosphere has shifted.  Lo and weekly guests will consider next steps to help us get through those next steps.
