Strangeful Things: Boston, Massachusetts

This week we’ll be discussing a crime from another perspective, that of a juror on a murder trial. On Saturday, September 3, 2011, Alex Sierra, an 18 year old resident of Boston was shot dead for truthfully answering the question “Are you from the Villa?” Villa Victoria is a housing project in Boston’s south end, with a history of gang violence, and a rivalry with another housing project and gang in Mission Hill, an area not far away in Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood.
