Visual Poetry with Rick Herrera and Steve Howell

Join us as writer and musician Rick Herrera and writer Steve Howell share how visualization help them to create poetic pieces that inspire all.

Rick is from Brooklyn. NY and wears many hats. In addition to being a poet, he is a comedian, film maker and actor. He received his Bachelors Dergree in Television and Film Arts from Buffalo State College. He is the producer of a short documentary called "One Mic" and won the Audience Choice Award in 2011 at the SUNY Film Festival for a short film. "Ledgermain". 

Steve joins us from Arkansas where he was born and raised. he started writing poetry in HS . He had an assignment that required him to write a poem and he remembers killing it, thinking that it was so easy. He looks forward to publishing a book of poetry one day.
