Dr.King's speech "Why I am opposed to the War in Vietnam" is my motivation to continue this fight at personal risk,and expense to save the lives of our troops both male and female and of all colors.We must as a people unite to defeat any elected representative in Washington,who has lied and voted for funding this war.I am committed to focus my efforts to defeating Congressman Steve Cohen and publicly call him out on the lies he's told to the people of the 9th district.I know this man is powerful and he has a one million dollar war chest.I also know that,it is with God's help,and his direction that leads my efforts.I also know that I can not do this alone.Therefore,I am requesting that the Americans who don't support the war help me to put this congressman who has lied to his district,out of office.He is a member of the "Out of Iraq Caucus' and has voted for this war more than once.He claims that he did this to protect our troops,but they are still dying.Many of them returning home in coffins,or mentally broken,realizing that they have been used by our nation,for the sick lust of power.We are are told they died to make us safe.We are still not safe after nine years,over 5 thousands lives losted,and thousands disabled,and spending almost a trillion dollars.Not to mention one million dead Iraqis,and Afganistani people dead. Bombs and bread don't mix,neither do lies about freedom to people who know no freedom.We were also promised this war was not about nation building,the last president lied.Billions of American taxpayer dollars have been stolen by the people of Afganistan and Iraq.And now president Obama want another 33 billion and another 107 billion more for this war.With high unemployment and record home foreclosures,business are closing daily and we're spending our future overseas in a war based off lies.Steve Cohen has voted for HR 2346 Supplemental Appropriations Act 2009.He's also voted for HR 2647.If you vote for Steve Cohen you're voting for the war.
