Every weekend a bunch of runners are running a distance for the first time. Many of them wonder if they have done the right training? They share other common concerns as well.
The first time you run an event you may experience a range of challenges. Often this will include a series of questions and doubts.
The more people we coach, mentor and talk to about running the more we see a very common pattern of concerns. Whether the distance is 5k, 10k, 21k, 42k, 100k or 160k it seems the same questions resurface.
In this episode of The Partnerunning Show we share our experience preparing for our first 100 mile / 160 km event and reflect on the pattern of questions and concerns as shared with us by so many runners.
Also on the show we play snippet from our feature episode with Tara Martin from Runners Kitchen talking about Amazeballs and energy for runners.
