In Today's Scripture reading, we hear about God's first call to Abraham, Our Father in Faith. The story of Abraham, his wife, Sarah, and God's call for Abraham to kill his beloved son Isaac are as rich in imagery and meaning as they are in theological and spiritual realities. Join us for this sermon by our leader and award-winning preacher, Bishop Kristina Rake, and learn about God's call to righteousness and what God really requires for our salvation.
Our worship is alive and beautiful, based on the ancient Liturgy of St. James, supposedly written by the Apostle himself. Set to gorgeous music, our liturgy, preaching, and theology are alive, inspired, anointed, and uplifting. You'll want to join us every week for our time together.
The Charismatic Universalist Church is the restored ancient church. Our theology is traditional and comes directly from scripture and the writings of the Apostles and their students. Our Mother, Mary, the Real Presence in the Eucharist, Saints, Purgatory, the Liturgy--it was all there from the beginning and it's all here now.
However, we are a socially progressive church, calling all to the sacraments, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or marital status.
